The TOC Thinking
and Behaviour skills course is already used by more than 50,000
teachers and over 1,000,000 students world-wide, and by three
national educational systems.
It has now
been adapted as an interactive program for children of 5-10 years
old. (With a course for 11-14 year olds available later in 2003)
Pupils
are better able to understand text and think logically through
issues raised in subjects like literature, history and science.
And
both teachers and parents benefit from children who are
much better at managing their own behaviour responsibly.
The
TOC course is available to schools
on
a multi-user CD-ROM.
The interactive
form is ideal for whole class teaching in a literacy or reading
session or as a major contribution to any thinking skills or citizenship
programme. It can be delivered through:
networked server or school intranet
stand alone computers
interactive whiteboards or projectors
